Loaves and Fishes is a ministry of First Baptist Church, Woodward. We want to express our gratitude to all who volunteer their time shopping, making food boxes, and praying for this ministry. I special thanks to Tim and Merry Springer for their vision and love for this ministry. 

Just as Jesus multiplied the loaves and fishes to feed the multitudes, this ministry provides food to people in need.  A person requesting  assistance with food is given a box packed with non- perishable food items and a nominal food voucher for the purchase of perishable food items on a shopping list that complete the items in the box.  With careful use of the voucher, a family of five or six will have meals for about a week. The box contains spiritual food as well. A Bible, salvation tract, information about First Baptist Church, and a letter from the church are included in each box.
