What is L.I.F.E.: there is nothing wrong with the term "Sunday School", but the use of the term LIFE Groups makes a more focused statement of our purpose. The L stand for "Learning", the I stands for "Involvement, the F stands for "Friendship", and the E stands for "Encouragement.  In essence, it is the church ministering through our LIFE groups by being involved in mission, building and maintaining friendships, and receiving and offering encouragement to each other. (Acts 2:40-47)

Why the change?

1st   The major objectives or our Life Groups will be to reach, teach, mobilize, and minister to people both in and outside of First Baptist Church.

2nd  By carefully age grading our units, space constraints can be accommodated and ministry will be done on purpose with purpose, with our goal still being to "Reach people for Jesus Christ and make disciples".

The transistion of our Sunday School will begin the first of the year...Won't you come and be apart of this exciting change..."Here we grow again"!
